I am sorry to hear about your bad experience, but it also has to do with the CMs that are working the ride. I really think that the bellhops I have had have been so creative, and put an amazing flair into their jobs! They can sometimes be like unscripted Jungle Cruise Skippers, and they just are truly enjoyable. Then when we got back, he said you were fantastic. When he said to be careful or you might end up in another dimension, he started talking about how much of a hassle it is to open up the rift and all this timey wimey stuff. During watch you hats glasses loved ones, he also said count your shadows, and don't blink. I had quite the opposite happen to me! My Bellhop was absolutely hilarious! He made tons of Doctor Who jokes and references. Inflection can also be a big factor, and sometimes it is very difficult for CMs to get the perfect inflection for their ride.

When I go on StoryBook Canals, sometimes I get a guide who makes funny jokes and makes everything really playful, and sometimes I get a bland script. There usually are going to be the better CMs when it comes to making rides more magical.
